Reduced guidance encourages the driver to recall the procedure while still showing overall progress through the four air brake checks.

What the simulator covers

The current module focuses on the core in-cab air brake inspection sequence for a Class A combination vehicle training profile.

  1. 01

    Air gauges and governor

    Observe pressure build-up, governor cut-out, governor cut-in, and reservoir recovery.

  2. 02

    Applied leakage test

    Secure the vehicle, release the parking brakes, apply the service brake, and evaluate simulated pressure loss.

  3. 03

    Low-air warning

    Fan the service brake and identify whether the warning activates before pressure falls below the training threshold.

  4. 04

    Spring-brake activation

    Continue reducing pressure and observe the simulated parking and trailer-supply valves activate.
